In order to respond to the severe flood control and rescue situation in Guizhou Province and the characteristics of water accidents in Qianxinan Prefecture in recent years in a timely and effective manner. Recently, Guizhou Province held a joint drill for emergency rescue of water accidents in 2020.

  The disaster situation was set as follows: a cruise ship "Guizhou Long III" carrying 96 people accidentally collided with another civilian ship due to the flood. During the conflict between the two parties, the other party's personnel threw flammable items into the cabin of the ship. Fleeing the scene, causing the "Guizhou Long III" ship to be in distress, 96 people were trapped.

  After the disaster, the fire rescue team of Qianxinan Prefecture quickly assembled a 40-person flood rescue team, 10 boats, 14 vehicles, 1 air rescue helicopter, and more than 800 sets of water rescue equipment into battle. At the same time, the detachment command center quickly reported to the Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps, launched the cross-regional emergency rescue plan, and mobilized the Anshun and Liupanshui detachment professional teams for flood rescue and rescue to provide reinforcement. Before and after the drill process, a total of 5 drill subjects were carried out, including accident response and emergency response, rescue of distressed persons, fire fighting and extinguishing of ships, oil spill control and removal on water, participation in ship review, and successful completion of water rescue tasks.
