Singer Tom Leeb should have worn the colors of France at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam ... finally canceled due to a global coronavirus pandemic. But before that, the unlucky singer had already suffered a first disillusionment when Franck Riester, Minister of Culture, had regretted the words in English of his song planned for the occasion. Tom Leeb then became the subject of numerous chronicles of our journalist Cyril Lacarrière in his Media Journal for a few weeks, which did not miss any news from the singer. For the end of the season, the  Culture Media team  has therefore decided to surprise him by (secretly) inviting his idol to the studio.

"I really liked this boy"

A visibly successful surprise! "It's funny! You are assholes," laughed Cyril Lacarrière, who did not expect it. "I liked this boy, who was criticized a lot from the start," said the columnist. "Really, it's a specialty in France to choose someone and to criticize them enormously. We talked about it in an interview together and it's crazy, it annoys me."

"I was told a while ago that I have constant news thanks to Europe 1, so thank you Cyril!", For his part laughed the singer.
