Taiwan has launched fake trips for its citizens, as passengers pass a passport checkpoint, and then board a plane that does not take off.

Air traffic around the world was suspended due to an outbreak of the Corona virus, which led to the Songshan Airport in Taipei (Taiwan), launching a fake passenger flight.

Songshan Airport published in mid-June an announcement about the event and invited those wishing to apply to participate, and there were about 7,000 people, so that the airport staff chose 90 participants randomly, with the possibility of inviting another person to the flight.

The passengers said that they had lost their trips abroad and hope that the borders will open soon, while some of them carry the bags to the airport to live the true travel atmosphere.

Taiwan closed its borders in March amid the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic, and foreigners are still not allowed to visit the island.
