China News Service, July 2 (Xinhua City, Xi'an Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Detachment Xincheng Brigade issued a report on the 2nd, saying that on the evening of July 1, the media reported that the Xincheng Brigade auxiliary police secretly received money from drivers after get off work. In response to this situation, yesterday the brigade had ceased to carry out its duties with the auxiliary police officer Li Mou, and the superior police inspectorate had intervened in the investigation.
The report pointed out that the Xincheng Brigade will deal with the existing violations of disciplines and laws in accordance with the law and regulations, and will not condone it. If any other clues are found, they will be transferred to the judicial authorities.
The report pointed out that in response to the problems exposed in this incident, the New City Brigade will strengthen team management, improve law enforcement supervision, and prevent such incidents from happening again.
