The Lyon police, who was suspected of "sexual abuse" of a minor and "sexual harassment", was indicted in the context of an opening of judicial information, we learned Wednesday evening from the prosecution of Lyon.

Specifically, the investigation aims to determine the existence of facts "of sexual abuse of a minor over the age of 15 committed by a person abusing the authority conferred on him by his position" and of "sexual harassment".

The official was placed under judicial supervision after his police custody at the premises of the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN).

According to the local newspaper Le Progrès , the accused is a police captain belonging to the criminal brigade of the Sûreté départementale du Rhône, who previously worked in the services of the BAC.
