The comedian will host the morning radio show, the Virgin Tonic from 7 am to 10 am, replacing Camille Combal. Guest Thursday of Philippe Vandel, in Culture media , Manu Payet explained that it was confinement that convinced him to return to the air, he who had not officiated on the radio since 2008, when he spoke as a regular columnist in On va s'gêner , on Europe 1.
"During confinement, I didn't need a TV, I needed a radio," said the humorist. "There were people who were alone at home during this time, and the radio has regained its primary function of accompaniment. It is not only information, it is a presence." He adds: "I thought it was good to be on the air right now."
