Séries Mania, the biggest series festival in France whose 2020 edition was canceled due to the coronavirus, will be held from March 19 to 27, 2021 in Lille. The festival will also create a "Mania Series label" to notify the public of the series it recommends.

Another novelty, the Mania Digital Series platform, created during the crisis to connect professionals in the sector, will be made permanent as of the start of the school year.

The creation of the “Séries Mania Institute”

Finally, the festival announces the creation of a training structure for series and audiovisual professions for European professionals, Séries Mania Institute, organized in partnership with La Fémis (supported by the CNC) and the Hauts-de- France.

From 2021, several training courses for different audiences will be offered around 3 axes: international know-how in writing series, the decompartmentalization of serial fiction trades and the emergence of new talents from diverse backgrounds routes and origins.

Other partners and more information will be communicated at the start of the school year, specifies the festival.
