Jean-Marc Lalanne, editor-in-chief of Inrockuptibles, was the guest of Culture Media on Wednesday morning on Europe 1 on the occasion of the magazine's traditional "special sex" release. An issue that aims to be inclusive and which has made the best annual sale of Inrocks for 16 years.

INTERVIEW

The traditional summer issue of Inrockuptibles devoted to sex has been available on newsstands since Wednesday. Soberly titled "Sex 2020", the magazine wants to "observe the phenomena of society and highlight contemporary practices," explained the editor-in-chief Jean-Marc Lalanne at the microphone of Europe 1 Wednesday. "A spirit of curiosity animated the making of this number," he continues.

"We are on the side of inclusiveness. We are also trying to see how, inside sexual practices, we can rethink modes of domination. For example, we made a file on feminist porn to see how this area is invested by inventive directors who overturn the usual patterns of domination and give a different place to the female figure ", develops Jean-Marc Lalanne.

"The best sale of the year"

Each year, the summer issue of Inrocks is expected. "For 16 years, this number has been the best selling of the year. We even double sales compared to a normal number," says Jean-Marc Lalanne.

The editorial staff of Inrocks also shakes up the periodicity of its magazine, usually weekly. The next issue will therefore be released on July 22, an anniversary magazine for the media's 25th anniversary.
