Two degraded statues in Marseille. Police arrested and placed a person in police custody Tuesday evening after the degradation of two statues commemorating the French colonies of Africa and Asia, learned  20 minutes from police sources.

The individual belonged to a group of ten people who covered the statues with red paint and tagged "the colonized in Africa and Asia screw France". These two statues are at the foot of the Saint-Charles train station, they had already been targeted by spray paint during a demonstration against racism and police violence at the beginning of the month. The investigation was entrusted to the local police station.
