At dawn on the 30th, a house burned down in Kikugawa, Shizuoka, and two bodies were found from the burned site. According to police, I am unable to contact the couple in their 70s and 60s who lived in this house, so we are rushing to confirm their identities.

After midnight on the 30th, a fire broke out from a wooden two-story house (65) by Naoko Maeda (65) in Mineda, Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and people living nearby reported to the fire department.

According to police and fire fighters, seven fire trucks came out to extinguish the fire, and the fire was stopped about three hours later, but the wooden two-story house was completely burned down, and two bodies were found from the burned site.

According to police etc., there are two married couples, Naoko Maeda (65) and Masahiro (76), who are unable to contact each other after the fire, so police confirmed the identity of the body. We are investigating the cause of the fire.

The site is a residential area along Kikugawa, which flows through the city, about 8 km south of JR Kikugawa Station.
