Therefore, the Volcanic Eruption Prediction Liaison Committee summarized the view that "volcanic activity is increasing at Mt. Asama, and small eruptions may occur in the future."
The Japan Meteorological Agency has continued the eruption warning level "2", which indicates "regulation around the crater," and calls for warning of large volcanic blocks and pyroclastic flows associated with the eruption within a range of approximately 2 kilometers from the summit crater.
