Song Jinlong, a worker of the Forestry Bureau of Tokyo City, Heilongjiang Province, suddenly discovered a spotted "big cat" moving cautiously on the mountain road about 20 meters in front of the right side of the excavator cab while he was repairing the fire-resistant highway. In this scene, this is the first time a wild manchurian leopard has been captured in the Seonglin Ward of Tokyo.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, Song Jinlong once again "encountered" this wild animal, capturing a video of his leisurely walk about 2 kilometers from the first shooting location.

The Tokyo City Bureau’s resource management department and the Tokyo City Forestry Public Security Bureau further obtained evidence and surveys at the sighting site to find wild animal foot prints with a foot pad 11 cm long and 7 cm wide. After preliminary analysis by the Feline Research Center of Northeast Forestry University, the animal is a wild Northeast Leopard. (Reporter Wei Lai)
