Its mission is to provide casus belli, the reason for the outbreak of war. For example, to find the most innocent victim and make sure that the process of the most cynical scolding and humiliation is captured on camera. After which the whole world will freeze in horror and voices will vying with each other to demand the blood of the offender.
I am opposed to the idea that talented authors with the help of some superpowers can foresee or even construct an image of the future. The writer is first of all an attentive person who follows the processes in society, notices the sprouts of the future in the present and understands which trees will grow from them as a result.
The book was written nine years ago, before the sanctions, to the Skripals, to the highly likes, to the whole bad theater, which is unfolding right before our eyes and with each new move it becomes more absurd. Now, The New York Times is publishing an article stating that the Russians allegedly paid the Taliban * for the killing of US soldiers in Afghanistan. Moreover: the security services reportedly reported to the US president about such disgrace, and he ignored the report.
The New York Times does not provide any evidence of its high-profile statements, unlike the Pelevin discourses, they do not have a spectacular picture - but the job is done, and now Russian diplomats, as well as Donald Trump, will have to make excuses for the fact that Hailie Liked not at all.
“An enemy discursive monger, like a missile with multiple warheads, is most expedient to destroy at the launch stage. The purpose of the escapade of a reputable information resource is clearly visible. In June, Republicans from the lower house of Congress demanded the introduction of "the toughest sanctions" against Russia. Undoubtedly, we need a reason for such a step: we have not interfered in the elections for a long time, we all forgot about who Skripy are, and even the President of Ukraine Zelensky recognized our Crimea just a couple of days ago, having reduced the number of regions in his speech home country in two (Crimea and Sevastopol). There is a second goal: to once again substitute Donald Trump, with whom all “progressive” America is fighting without ceasing from the very moment of his election. Elections are coming, and the “Russian agent” must be completely discredited.
In this sense, the story of Afghanistan is perfect on all sides. What the hell are American soldiers still doing there and why are they sticking out there for so long and sometimes returning to their homeland in the form of 200 cargo - a question that is extremely inconvenient for the entire American establishment (the answer “control drug trafficking” is obvious, but also inconvenient).
Now there is an answer to it: they return in tombs because the evil Russia wants it.
Moreover, the presence of troops thousands of kilometers from home is also indirectly explained by the confrontation with Russia, which, it turns out, is fighting in the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan with the United States. Well, the move with the president is simply flawless: Trump knew, but did nothing, of course, because he is a Russian agent and his relationship with bloody Putin is more precious to him than the lives of his American soldiers.
The discourse sparked fame - threats began to arrive at Russian embassies in the United States and Britain. Our diplomats are asking for protection both from reprisal and from direct slander, but the media continue to rekindle it: the British Mail published material where all this ridiculous story has already been linked to the GRU, the Skripals case, and even some mythical division of our intelligence that deals with such wet affairs. One can only hope that the American side will nevertheless show prudence and ensure our employees safety. But the deed has been done, the seed has been sown - there will be sanctions, and Trump will also be felled by all available means.
The game America is playing is very dangerous because it is a short game. The house of cards of an increasingly ridiculous lie will collapse one day, the boy who constantly shouts: “Wolf, wolf!” Will soon cease to believe.
