Launched in January and sponsored by the novelist Maxime Chattam, the first "Prix  20 Minutes  du roman", on the theme "the future belongs to the youth", is advancing rapidly.

After the reception of more than 500 manuscripts, and a first selection made by the readers of the platform "Les Nouveaux Auteurs", set up by our partner Prisma media, the joint jury of 36 journalists and readers of the platform "  20 Minutes  books ”began reading and selecting the four to five finalist works from a dozen or so titles selected.

At the start of the school year, the winner, the one who has best combined the literary equation "respect for the imposed theme, quality of writing, originality and coherence of the story", will be chosen during a deliberation between the jury and its president, Maxime Chattam.

The name of the winner will be announced at the next edition of our next VIS event! ONS, planned for the end of the year. And the novel, co-published by Les Nouveaux Auteurs, Prisma media and  20 Minutes , will go on sale immediately.

For this episode of Minute Papillon!, Stéphane Leblanc, head of the Culture department at 20 Minutes , talks about the organization of this award and the progress of the project. For the more curious, the rules are posted online.
