6.15 billion collected so far by the EU 

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyden has announced that it has so far obtained nearly 6.15 billion euros to finance research into a vaccine, including 4.9 billion euros from the European Investment Bank . "We will not end this pandemic until it is over everywhere," she said at the opening of this virtual event.

"And that means everyone in the world has access to tests, treatments and vaccines. No matter where they live, where they come from and how they look."
