Penn Badgley actor - Armando Gallo / Zuma / Starface

For Penn Badgley, the news is disturbing to say the least. Chris d'Elia, with whom he shared the poster for the second season of  You , was recently accused of harassing minors who he allegedly asked for naked photos. It is a teenager who chose to publish on Twitter exchanges they had to denounce her behavior. Subsequently, several potential victims came forward.

for the longest time i thought this was just a funny story to tell at parties when i realized what happened isn't normal and that he was and could still be doing this to younger girls and it's my job to say something

"It troubles me," said Penn Badgley during a stint on the Los Angeles Times podcast,  Can't Stop Watching . I don't know Chris. I know that if there is anything we need to do in our time, it is to believe women. The idea that a series like ours can indirectly, unwittingly, be a refuge for abusive people is worrying. It is very disturbing.

A curious statement

For his part, Chris D'Elia denied these accusations, assuring in a press release published by Deadline that all his "relations had been legal and consented". But later, the actor apologizes for behaviors on which he gives no details, thus sowing doubt. " I am really sorry. I was a stupid guy who totally got caught up in his lifestyle. It's my fault. I assume. I have been thinking about it for a while and I promise that I will do better. Chris D'Elia specifically portrayed the role of a successful artist with pedophile tendencies in the second season of  You .
