In France, museums are gradually resuming their activity. Saturday, it's the Cité des Sciences' turn to reopen its doors. In an establishment where you touch the works rather than look at them, everything had to be rethought, as for the exhibition "Espion", in which Europe 1 is a partner.

Museums are gradually reopening in France after months of closure due to coronavirus. The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, in Paris, reopens on Saturday and is facing a problem of its own. Unlike the Louvre, for example, where you contemplate works, at the Cité des Sciences, you touch them, especially children. So we had to reorganize, especially for the "Spy" exhibition, which Europe 1 supports.

Playing the piano in a fake TV studio, observing ants from a jar in which you put your head: impossible not to touch the games of the children's part of the City of Science and Industry. So from Saturday, only five people per maximum slot will be allowed. A gauge divided by five. In addition, 45 minutes of cleaning will be required between each slot.

Touch with elbows and feet rather than hands

The barrier gestures will be explained in a fun way throughout the course. "We have also put in place a lot of small stickers which explain to people that they are not obliged to touch with their hands but that they can touch with their elbows or with their feet", explains Sabine Tuyaret, in charge of accessibility to Universcience.

The same constraints apply to the temporary spy exhibition. A stylus can be loaned to visitors at the entrance so that they do not touch the touch screens with their fingers. Note that spontaneous arrival at the City of Sciences and Industry will no longer be possible, there will be no sales at the counter. Visitors should therefore remember to book online before going there.
