The cases of Covid in children are one of the unknowns that most attract attention in this pandemic. Many studies seek answers on the low incidence and on knowing the pattern of those who end up entering the hospital. In Europe, a study published in The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health concludes that most are not serious. Thus, among the most outstanding conclusions it is found that they develop a mild disease and deaths are extremely rare (four deaths in 582 patients, below 1%). Furthermore, he points out that only a small proportion, not negligible, developed the serious form that required care.
