Boxes of Cayenne peppers from the Connétable brand, sold at Carrefour and Auchan, are currently the subject of a recall, as noted by the Oulah site . These preserves could contain pieces of glass.

In press releases published Wednesday, the two brands indicate that "all of the products are withdrawn from marketing, however some (…) were marketed before the withdrawal measure".

Boxes sold by three or alone

At Carrefour, the recall measure concerns 125g cans of sardines sold in packs of three. The affected lots are as follows: 04 2025 / S00970164; 04 2025 / S00970183; 04 2025 / S00970205. On the Auchan side, it is the same preserve, but sold alone. It bears the lot number 04 2025 / S00970183. “We ask the people who bought this product not to consume it and to bring it back to the point of sale. It will be refunded to you immediately, ”say the two brands.

The Chancerelle cannery has set up a telephone number (02.30.14.02.00) for customers who have additional questions.
