According to weather forecasts, by the end of this week the heat will return to Moscow.

Roman Vilfand, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, said in an interview with RT that a significantly higher temperature background will be observed from Friday. Moscow will be in the field of high pressure.

“On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, + 25 ... + 30 ° C is expected. Precipitation is possible, but rains will be short-lived, ”the meteorologist concluded.

The chief specialist of the Moscow Weather Bureau Tatyana Pozdnyakova confirmed that on weekends the temperature will rise to +30 ° C. However, it is not worth talking about the abnormal heat, the weather forecaster believes.

“An abnormal heat is when we keep the temperature above +30 ° C for more than five days,” explained Pozdnyakova.

The Phobos Center predicts that sunny weather is expected in central Russia in the last days of the week. Peak warming will occur on Saturday - the temperature rises to about +30 ° C.

At the same time, as Villefand later specified, already at the beginning of next week a noticeable cooling is expected in Central Russia due to the impending cyclone.

“Already at night it will be +10 ... + 12 ° C, during the day it will be +19 ... + 22 ° C ... Compared to the 30–32 degree heat, this is a noticeable decrease,” RIA Novosti forecaster quotes.

According to Vilfand, on Tuesday the cooling will be even more noticeable, against this background, the rains will intensify. As the weather forecaster explained, these phenomena will also be observed in the Northwestern Federal District. According to him, it will still be cold in the Volga region, in the Urals and in the south of Western Siberia.

Precautions

Boris Revich, the chief researcher and head of the laboratory at the Institute for Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, talked with RT about protective measures in hot weather.

The specialist advised to try to stay under the sun for a minimum time, dress in light, white clothes and be sure to wear a hat.

“If you are walking along a street where there is no greenery, go at least for a few minutes to public places where air conditioners work, say to shops,” Revich suggests.

During the heat, it is also recommended that you slightly change to consume a minimum amount of alcohol and smoke less. Along with this, physical exercises that require a lot of work should be reduced, since the cardiovascular system suffers because of this.

In addition, the professor advised to avoid fatty foods, sugary sodas, and to switch to eating vegetables and fruits as much as possible. The doctor of medical sciences emphasized that it is important that nutrition is light and the body is easier to handle.

Gelendzhik, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, called Gelendzhik the most comfortable resort for rest in Russia, where, according to him, the water temperature has already reached 24 ° C, and from mid-July it is expected to reach 26 ° C.

“All people are very different. There are people who, for example, like the hotter weather. They then went to the North Caucasus, to the Black Sea coast. Not even on the Black Sea coast, but on the Sea of Azov. There, the temperature will reach + 33 ... + 35 ° C during most days of July, ”he explained.

Lifting restrictions

Recall, from Tuesday June 23 in the capital began the third phase of lifting the restrictive measures introduced due to the epidemic of coronavirus infection COVID-19.

In full, catering facilities have begun to work, and restrictions on the operation of kindergartens, fitness clubs, pools, fitness centers and travel agencies have also been lifted.

In addition, the use of urban infrastructure is again permitted. We are talking about shops, swings and street exercise machines. Along with this, passenger navigation on the Moscow River opens and institutions of social protection of the population return to normal operation.

The surge in the incidence of coronavirus infection in Russia is declining, said Health Minister Mikhail Murashko. According to him, first of all we are talking about Moscow, where the level of population immunity is growing. Nevertheless, the head of the Ministry of Health recalled that precautionary measures should still be observed.
