After the media field, the death of a bear, shot dead at the beginning of the month in Ariège, moves to the judicial field. In line with the Minister for the Ecological Transition, twenty environmental protection associations have decided to file a complaint against X for "destruction of a protected species".
While the gendarmes are investigating in an attempt to gather clues, the battle between pro and anti-bear has resumed on the massif. A tension exacerbated by the positions taken by the two camps, whether by the reward launched by the NGO Sea Shepherd for gathering any information, or the declarations of Ariège elected representatives calling not to participate in this operation "hunting for the man".
Words that could be used against those who held them warn the plantigrade defense associations who invoke "the chief of complicity".
Their activists also insist that the killed bear also be replaced "immediately". To do this, they invoke one of the paragraphs of the 2018-2028 bear plan drawn up by the State. It provides for the replacement of any bear that died "prematurely as a result of man".
