Arielle Dombasle is back in stores. She has just published her eleventh album, entitled Empire , written and composed with Nicolas Ker. This is their second collaboration, after  La Rivière Atlantique , released in 2016. "Our duo is nitroglycerin", they confided to Obs last week, identifying with this highly chemical compound explosive. The singer was the guest of Culture-Media, Wednesday on Europe 1.

"I love people who dazzle me"

"I like people who are not on a straight path," says Arielle Dombasle at the microphone of Philippe Vandel. Philippe Katerine, Chilly Gonzales, Nicolas Ker ... The singer has collaborated with artists often considered rather crazy. "I'm not interested in marketing products, fake dating albums. I like people who dazzle me. I go to them, they come to me ...", she says.

Arielle Dombasle and Nicolas Ker's album is a very melodic rock record, "close to The Cure or Joy Division", specifies the singer. Nicolas Ker this time wrote almost everything in English, except for one title. Songs, but also "fights", in which Arielle Dombasle notably claims her ecological fiber. "It's as tragic as it is true," she sings in We Bleed for the ocean . The duo will be in concert from September, at La Maroquinerie, in Paris.
