The radio transfer window is not over. After RTL and Europe 1, Bernard Poirette found a new home. While he will present his last morning on July 5 on the Lagardère group radio station, the journalist will be at his new post this summer, this time on Radio Classique. He will animate the morning there for the next two months, before taking orders every Friday at the start of the next school year and replacing Guillaume Durand during his holidays.

Radio Classique announced this recruitment in a press release: "Great voice of the radio, long host of the morning show of the weekend on RTL then Europe 1, Bernard Poirette will be back on Radio Classique on Monday July 13, at the controls of 8/9 from summer until August 28, "she said.

“And from September 4, Bernard Poirette will host, from 7:30 am to 9 am, the Friday morning news on Radio Classique; he will also replace Guillaume Durand [the presenter of the Radio Classique morning from Monday to Thursday] during his holidays ”, adds the music station of the group Les Échos - Le Parisien (subsidiary of LVMH).

Leaving Europe 1 for financial reasons

Bernard Poirette, long the big morning voice of the weekend on RTL, had been hired by Europe 1 in 2018, to animate the morning of Saturday and Sunday, succeeding Wendy Bouchard.

But the host did not take root in the general radio of the Lagardère group, where he will present his last morning on July 5: he had announced at the end of May to the specialized publication Satellifax that his contract would not be renewed, because "seen the financial state of the Lagardère group, they could not afford to keep me.
