  • Pôle Emploi advisor in Rennes, Yann Gaudin was summoned this Tuesday afternoon by his management for a disciplinary interview.
  • According to him, he pays for helping job seekers recover unpaid allowances.
  • No sanction has yet been pronounced against him, the regional management leaving it to the national leadership to decide.

His management wanted to hear him "on a certain number of dysfunctions" noted according to her for several years and "in no case on his public statements and the status of whistleblower which he avails himself of recently". For a little less than an hour, Yann Gaudin was received this Tuesday afternoon by the regional management of Pôle Emploi Bretagne in Rennes for a disciplinary interview. "It is a flawless disciplinary procedure, it is still original, reacted the person concerned when he left. There are only allegations that I am disrupting the work of my agency or my colleagues, but there are no supporting facts. ”

For this 43-year-old Pôle Emploi advisor, employed since 2006, he mainly pays for having "done his job properly" and "having done service to job seekers". Since 2014, Yann Gaudin has thus enabled dozens of job seekers to recover nearly 200,000 euros in allowances not paid by the institution.

Pôle Emploi general management to decide

After a first layoff of five days last year, the "whistleblower" expected Tuesday to be notified of his dismissal. However, no sanctions have yet been imposed on him.

The ball is now in the court of the general direction of Pôle Emploi which will have to rule on the fate of Yann Gaudin in the coming days. "Normally I don't risk anything because I didn't make a mistake," he says. But then I can't stop them from doing something stupid. And there, we are dealing with a very big managerial stupidity ”.

Pôle Emploi defends the mission of its advisers

In a short speech at the end of the interview, Frédéric Sévignon, regional director of Pôle Emploi Bretagne, made it clear that "if a disciplinary sanction should be imposed, he may appeal to our national conciliation body (…) if he wish it. "

The regional director also refuted the accusations of Yann Gaudin who claims that Pôle Emploi has set up a real organized system to deprive certain job seekers of their financial rights. "The mission of all Pôle Emploi advisers, and it is their pride, is to help job seekers on a daily basis in their efforts, in particular so that they benefit from all of their rights", a- he assured before the press.

Pending a possible sanction, the case should continue in the judicial field since Yann Gaudin has already planned to initiate proceedings before the industrial tribunal for "moral harassment".
