Zhejiang is China's first batch of pilot college entrance examination reforms and has completed three rounds of college entrance examination admissions. In response to the problems in the reform, the Zhejiang Provincial Government has officially released the "Notice on Further Performing the Comprehensive Reform of the College Entrance Examination", which involves six reform measures. It was mentioned at the meeting that from January 2021, the scores of foreign language and selected subjects will be changed from two years of validity to the current year; from January 2022, the difference in the grades of selected subjects will be changed from 3 to 1 point; from the admission in 2021, the admission segment will be changed from three to two; from 2023, the national proposition test paper will be used for Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages.
Sun Heng, a member of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and the dean of the Provincial Education Examination Institute, said that the use of a unified national proposition test paper for Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages is the current unifying trend. To this end, Zhejiang High School will start the new curriculum standard for the first year of high school students who will enroll in 2020.
At the same time, the Zhejiang High School Examination will be scheduled according to the grade of the year, and the unified subject will be opened at the same time.
