The 25-year-old Parisian rapper was arrested on Friday following a routine traffic stop after the police discovered that he was on a search warrant for aggravated refusal to comply, according to a police source. Moha La Squale first managed to escape on foot before being caught and "hardly handcuffed" by three police officers.

His police custody was lifted late Saturday morning. He was presented to a judge who gave him a summons to the criminal court on July 9. Moha La Squale was then released under judicial supervision by a liberty and detention judge (JLD).
