this afternoon (21st), a partial eclipse occurred when the moon covered half of the sun. Some people missed it because they couldn't see the sun with their bare eyes. Let's look at the sun behind the moon. It is a scene that can be seen again 10 years later.

Today, at 15:53, the sun will gradually disappear from below.

After an hour, half of the sun disappeared and turned into a crescent moon.

A partial eclipse occurred when the moon covered part of the sun.

Based on Seoul, 57.4% was obscured by the moon when viewed from Jeju Island, 45% south of the sun.

Children are amazed by the sun disappearing through special filters and telescopes.

[Hu Ji-an / Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do: It looks like a half-moon because of the shadow. It's really amazing. It looks like a banana.]

[Sung Yeon-je / Goyang-si, Gyeonggi: The sun is bigger than the moon, but the moon covers the sun. (Moon) I'm so close. It's still amazing.] The

sun regained its integrity again around 6 PM.When the sun and moon are placed in a straight line, an eclipse occurs.

However, as the Korean standard, the partial eclipse appeared because the moon was slightly out of alignment.

In Eastern Europe and Africa, where the sun, moon, and earth were completely in line, a golden eclipse was observed where the sun looked like a golden ring.

Although the solar eclipse appears in December this year, it cannot be seen in Korea, and it is expected to be seen in Korea again in 2030, 10 years later.
