A large demonstration was held in the Malian capital, Friday June 19, to demand the departure of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. It was the second since the beginning of the month, after that of June 5. This challenge now has a name, "June 5 Movement - Rally of Patriotic Forces", and a leader, Imam Mahmoud Dicko, supported by figures from the opposition and civil society. After two shows of force, is the Head of State weakened? Could he give in to pressure from the street? To decipher this new show of force of opponents of the Malian president, RFI receives Baba Dakono, a researcher at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) in Mali.
