France has registered 16 additional Covid-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 29,633 since the start of the epidemic, according to an assessment published Saturday by Santé Publique France. According to the national public health agency, the number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care continues to decrease with 715 patients, 12 less than in the report published the day before by the Directorate General of Health (DGS).

80 epidemic outbreaks
A total of 19,176 people died in hospitals, according to Santé publique France. Data on deaths in social and medico-social establishments, including nursing homes, will be updated on Tuesday. The total number of people hospitalized also continues to decline, with 9,837 patients across the country.
