The Americans consistently and stubbornly continue to pump Ukraine with weapons. Just the day before, a shipment of Javelin rockets and other weapons for a total of $ 60 million were delivered from the United States to Nezalezhnaya. In total, Washington planned to spend $ 250 million this year on military assistance to Kiev. This is only according to official data - Congress approved this amount.

If we take into account the so-called “illegal operations”, which include regular business trips of US intelligence agencies to Ukraine, the preparation and development of various kinds of sabotage against Donetsk, Lugansk and the Crimea (yes, the peninsula still haunts them), then the reality is that the United States spends on the war near the borders with Russia exceeds the indicated amount by several times and can cost American taxpayers no less than $ 1 billion a year.

Arms deliveries to Kiev pursue at least three goals - political, financial and directly military. Let us briefly consider each of them.

The political goal, no doubt, is to regularly send a signal to the radical Ukrainian elites that Washington is not going to leave Nezalezhnaya. Each delivery is actively PR in the news and is served almost like manna from heaven. Why is this so necessary? Yes, because the Ukrainian elite is a dubious and extremely opportunistic substance, it must always be fed up with promises and handouts, otherwise it may vibrate and look at one another in the air under the new realities that she (the elite) has repeatedly demonstrated. Pragmatic Americans have no illusions in this regard.

Goal number two is an elementary financial and, in fact, corruption factor. From the United States, of course. Ukrainian politicians hardly have any access to the amounts allocated to their armaments. Relatively speaking, some Americans allocated $ 250 million to buy weapons from other Americans for this amount - usually outdated and about to be decommissioned. That is, in fact, depreciated. It is released, however, without a discount - according to market conditions. The scheme is ingenious in its own way. Instead of spending money on the disposal of obsolete weapons, they simply send it to Ukraine, and even for the money.

Absolutely any military expert knows that the notorious Javelin are missiles of the past generation. With all my ironic attitude towards the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, it is worth noting that Kiev has developed anti-tank systems that obviously surpass Mr. Javelin in functionality and efficiency. Modernized versions of the Ukrainian complex “Stugna”, which have already been tested in the Donbass war, work for longer distances, plus they are able to change the trajectory, in particular, to hit the target from above.

I saw how these upgraded missiles “dismantle” well-fortified dugouts. Unlike the obsolete Mr. Javelin.

However, instead of allocating money for the development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and, for example, making the production of this modernized Stugna serial, the Americans stubbornly send their own junk to Kiev. In Washington, as we understand it, they are by no means interested in Ukraine progressing independently - it is necessary that it consume only what it is given from across the ocean. In general, you understood everything about the financial side of the issue. The cycle of dollars in an exclusively American nature.

Let's move on to the third goal - the military. With all the flaws of Javelin, you need to be soberly aware that bad weapons are still weapons. Anyway. And if it appears in a country where hostilities are taking place, then sooner or later it will be used. This is far from the first delivery of American missile systems to Ukraine, and the fact that this process itself is a financial scam does not mean that there are no specific military plans for this weapon. Accumulating and accumulating the same missile systems on the Donbass front, the Americans inevitably create certain combat capabilities for the Armed Forces and other Ukrainian armed forces.

If we evaluate the fuse of the same nationalist radicals and the increasing intensity of shelling of the DPR and LPR, we can conclude that they are not prone to saving ammunition. The rationality of using specific types of weapons (for example, anti-tank missiles, of which Javelin is) is also worth considering. Experience has shown that the Ukrainian military regularly "spends" expensive ATGMs not on armored vehicles, but on ordinary civilian vehicles, which contradicts any front-line logic.

In general, the situation can be described as follows. Ukraine, pumped up with American weapons (albeit outdated), in fact is a monkey with a grenade. She does not understand how to use it, but this makes it even more dangerous for others. First of all, for civilians, who are often the main goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. You don’t have to go far for examples. This morning, a sniper fire was opened at the DPR at the Mayorsk checkpoint, through which hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of civilians pass through. Perhaps from Barret rifles, which the Americans also supply to Ukraine.
