Sakura trout "waterfall climb" 4:10 on June 18, Kiyosato-cho, Hokkaido

In the river that flows through Kiyosato-cho, Hokkaido, we can now see cherry salmon, who have gone up to spawn, try hard to climb the waterfall.

Cherry salmon, which have reached the season of spawning, run up the Shari River that flows through Kiyosato Town from June to September every year. Many cherry salmon can be seen bouncing as they cross the waterfall.

On the 17th, tourists visited the waterfall on the 17th, and even photographed the mountain climbing of the cherry salmon with a camera, and cheered up saying "Go for it."

A woman in his 60s in Abashiri City said, “I thought I should do my best to try to climb up even if I fall from a waterfall.” A man in his 70s in Osaka said, "I felt the greatness of nature's activities."

Kiyosato Tourism Association's Taku Kojima said, “I want you to see the appearance of cherry salmon and think about the importance of connecting life and the blessings of nature.”

According to the tourism association, cherry salmon waterfall climbing peaks from next month to August.
