Lemmy Kilmister, who fronted Motörhead for 40 years, passed away 70 years old in 2015. Greg Olliver, who will direct the upcoming film "Lemmy", followed Kilmister and Motörhead for three years and has previously made a documentary with the same name as the feature film about the musician .

- Everything you've heard about Lemmy is probably true. Not because he embraced the rock 'n' roll lights, but because he created them. Red Marlboros and Jack Daniel's for breakfast, amphetamines for dinner - everything is true. But behind that hard rock facade was also an interesting, complicated and warm-hearted man who went his way and never stopped playing the music that made him happy, says Greg Olliver.

Who will play Lemmy is not yet published. Just months before he died, Kilmister himself said he would love to see now-deceased Roger Moore play him.

Start of recording is scheduled for early next year.
