Hainan Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County is located in the core area of ecological protection in Hainan. It was once a nationally designated poverty-stricken county. Baorui Village in the county is a village inhabited by Li people. As the first college student in the village, Wang Xianshan returned to his hometown to start a business after graduation while helping the villagers out of poverty and improving the quality of life of the villagers.
It is understood that there were once dangerous houses in Baorui village, leaking villagers' houses, and mud roads running through the village... In 2017, Baorui village underwent dangerous house renovation and infrastructure construction. Now every household in the village has a new look. Villagers live in flat-roofed bungalows, fruits and fragrance in front of houses and children running on cement roads. [Commentary] Bohou Village in Sanya City is also a village inhabited by Li people. There are currently 44 homestays with more than 1,300 rooms, making it one of the largest homestay villages in Hainan Province. The villagers have got rid of poverty by eating "tourism meals".
Once the environment of Bohou Village in Sanya and Baorui Village in Qiongzhong were similar. In 2017, the village launched a beautiful village construction, and the appearance of the village has changed greatly. Tan Zhongxian, a college student who returned to his hometown in Bohou Village, returned to his hometown three years ago to start the first homestay invested by the villagers and operated independently. Later, the villagers were urged to run a bed and breakfast together, and formed the current scale.
