【Explanation】Since Beijing's important "vegetable basket" new agricultural product wholesale market is temporarily closed, Beijing's vegetable and fruit supply situation has attracted much attention. On the afternoon of June 16, the reporter arrived at the Wumeiyi Vegetable and Fruit Logistics Warehouse in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Many trucks carrying vegetables and fruits have entered one after another, and the staff in the warehouse are nervously and orderly carrying out quality inspection and transportation.

This batch of goods just arrived, we first stared at the car, to ensure that the entire batch of goods to see the overall quality, and then we randomly check. After the outbreak occurred in the new place, the (working state) changed a lot, and the amount suddenly increased. They all work overtime to ensure the quality of the goods and ensure that the goods arrive safely at the store.

[Commentary] All sorted products are arranged in sections, waiting to be sent to Wumei stores. Li Dongzhi, the person in charge of Wumart Logistics Center, told reporters that most of these fruits and vegetables are sourced directly from the origin, which can ensure quality and safety and stable prices. After the new place was closed, the demand for fruits and vegetables in many stores increased sharply, and the warehouse urgently increased the goods to ensure the supply.

The amount of fruit (supplied) is about 600 tons per day, and the amount of vegetables (supplied) is 1500 tons per day, and there are (approximately) 800 stores. In other words, there are 2100 tons (fruits and vegetables) of daily supply to the store, which is about 3.5 times the previous amount. The current supply of fruits and vegetables is very sufficient. In view of the current epidemic situation in Beijing, we have not only delivered it to Wuwu stores. Because there are many hotels, small supermarkets, and some schools, the previous channels may have been adopted more in the new development. Therefore, we have further expanded our channels to deliver the products directly picked by the base to merchants in a timely manner.

[Commentary] Li Dongzhi said that in order to avoid a long-term shortage of individual products in the store, the warehouse fully coordinated the deployment of vehicle manpower and timely delivery of goods.

We have mobilized some people from the brother department horizontally and added more than 10% of vehicles on the original basis. At the same time, we reused the previous vehicles. In the past, the store was delivered once a day, and now we adopt a new method called rolling departure. As long as there is demand in the store, we will dispatch at any time and then distribute it to the store to meet the shelf needs. Like fruits and vegetables, there are currently 400 to 500 trains delivered to the store a day, and we have doubled the number of trains.

[Commentary] In addition, Li Dongzhi said that the warehouse has detailed various anti-epidemic guidelines and strengthened product quality inspection. While ensuring the safety of personnel and goods, it will purchase and adjust goods according to the needs of the public to ensure the normal supply of fruits and vegetables.
