On June 14th, the reporter saw herdsmen digging Cordyceps in the production area of Addo Township, Zaduo County. To protect the grassland, the hoe of the herdsmen digging Cordyceps became smaller, they would use every time they dug a Cordyceps Hand or hoe backfill the dug turf.
Qinghai Cordyceps sinensis is known as "soft gold", accounting for about 60% of China's production. The Zaduo County, Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, which is located at the source of the Lancang River, is known as China's "First Cordyceps County" because of its good quality. After entering the cordyceps mining season in May every year, thousands of herdsmen in Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, will rush into production areas above 4,000 meters above sea level to start digging cordyceps.
