There will soon be a new daily soap opera on TF1: in the columns of "Figaro", Ara Aprikian, the Managing Director in charge of group content, outlines the project for the channel's new program, available on screens from this autumn. Her name ? "Here it all begins"

After Tomorrow belongs to us , TF1 will launch a second daily soap opera, which will be filmed this summer and broadcast in the fall, announces in the columns of Figaro  Ara Aprikian, the Director General in charge of group content. Cut into 26-minute episodes, the program will be called Here It All Begins. "The intrigue will be tied around the life of a school of gastronomy, around the questions of learning and transmission between different generations", explains Ara Aprikian.

Accelerated calendar for release in fall

The chain does not intend to waste time. While TF1 has "hesitated to cancel the project given the economic situation", it will finally be started in the coming weeks ... while the first broadcast was scheduled initially in January 2021. This acceleration of the calendar is one way to TF1 "to stimulate a strong and rapid recovery signal".

This new soap should find its place on the TF1 grid just before Tomorrow belongs to usHere everything begins  will be filmed mainly in the Camargue. A new series filmed in the south of France, therefore, after  Plus belle la vie  (Marseille) on France 3, Un si grand soleil  (Montpellier) on France 2 and Tomorrow belongs to us  (Sète) on the front page.
