Perhaps you have seen the two trailers available from Tenet , the new Christopher Nolan, whose release is fast approaching. And if you did not understand much by watching them, rest assured, because the cast does not seem very sure to have captured everything on its side! As he confided in an interview relayed by Collider, Kenneth Branagh had to read the script many times to find his way.

" I am not joking. I have never read a script so many times for any other project. It was like doing the Times crossword every day, "he said.

Inversion

Better yet, Kenneth Branagh still wonders about the place of his character in the plot. “During filming, and between scenes, my character is constantly flipping and playing with our expectations, towards what he should be. So my discussions with Nolan were constant, because the evolution of my character was not fixed. It was a series of surprises, ”added the actor.

This may seem confusing, but the process makes sense when you know that Tenet's guideline is the concept of inversion. And Christopher Nolan, who himself described his film as "the most ambitious of his career", seems to have wanted to push his concept into the filming process. So go on July 22 in theaters to find out.
