Beijing News (Reporter Xu Meihui) At 6 pm on June 12, Hubei Province New Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Headquarters held the 109th press conference to introduce the adjustment of emergency response levels of major public health emergencies in Hubei Province And related arrangements.

Yang Yunyan, deputy governor of the Hubei Provincial People's Government, informed that the emergency response level of Hubei Province has been adjusted from two to three from zero on June 13.

Yang Yunyan said that recently, the Hubei Provincial Headquarters organized a joint expert group to evaluate and analyze the epidemic situation in Hubei Province and concluded that the prevention and control situation in Hubei Province continues to improve and that it has the conditions to lower the emergency response level.

Why lower the response level? According to Yang Yunyan, there are three main reasons. On the one hand, the epidemic situation in Hubei Province is stable and improving. Since Hubei Province reported the last confirmed case on May 18, there have been no new confirmed cases for 24 consecutive days. The province has newly confirmed cases, new suspected cases, new asymptomatic infections, new death cases, existing Confirmed cases, existing suspected cases, and imported cases "7 cleared"; Wuhan nucleic acid detection major investigation, the results reflect "5 no", no confirmed case was found, no asymptomatic infection was not confirmed, close contact There were no positive cases, no live virus in virus culture, and no positive cases in environmental samples. From 0:00 on June 2, Hubei Province entered the low-risk area again.

On the other hand, the detection rate of asymptomatic infections in Hubei Province continues to decline. Since May 2nd, 83.45% of asymptomatic infections found in Hubei Province have come from population screening, mainly due to previous hidden infections. The detection rate of asymptomatic infections in the whole province showed a significant downward trend. As of 24:00 on June 11, there were no new asymptomatic infections in Wuhan for 12 consecutive days, and there were no new asymptomatic infections in other areas outside Wuhan for 9 consecutive days, and no cases of asymptomatic infections were found. This shows that the spread of the local epidemic has been significantly blocked and the risk of spread is extremely low.

In addition, Yang Yunyan said that the risk of foreign imports in Hubei Province is low. Up to now, there have been confirmed cases of no input for 72 consecutive days and 71 days of asymptomatic infections without input.
