Located 120 km from the city of Xi'an in China, Huashan is one of the country's five sacred mountains. It is also considered one of the most dangerous hikes in the world. On a portion of the path, only a 30 cm wide board separates hikers from a 700 m precipice. Then follow narrow ledges and stone stairs. Huashan attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year.

The "Angel Trail", a perilous ascent

For the more adventurous, there is the Caminito del Rey, located in the Ardales National Park, in Spain. Carved into the rock, the route follows the gorges of EI Chorro where the Guadalhorce river flows. Under some walkways, you can see more than 100 m of vacuum. 7.7 km long, the course is generally completed in 3 to 4 hours. Access is limited to 600 people per day and wearing a helmet is compulsory. Known for its dangerousness, the trail was even closed in 2001 after the death of five people.

The "Angel Trail" or the path that leads to a spectacular headland. Located in Utah, in the United States, this summit is one of the most famous in Zion National Park. From its height of 1,765 m, it gives an exceptional view of the Canyon. But going up there can become a real challenge…
