"Gender homosexuality without consent" Guidance to company 20's Men's offer June 12 18:28

A man working at an insurance agent in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, has proposed that he be instructed to the company based on the regulations, saying that he was announced as homosexuality at work without consent.

The request was made by a man in his twenties who works for an insurance agency in Toshima-ku, Tokyo and held a press conference on the 12th.

According to it, the man lived with a partner of the same sex and joined the company in May last year, but immediately after that, he was announced in the workplace by his direct supervisor that he is gay.

This led to symptoms such as insomnia, which was followed by a diagnosis of depression, and he is currently on leave.

When he joined the company, he told the company executives that he was a gay person, but he said that he would explain only to employees who need to know it in business.

The Toshima ward ordinance prohibits public disclosure of sexual orientation without the consent of the person, and a man has asked the ward to carry out enlightenment and instruct the company based on this ordinance.

The man said, "You should never reveal your sexual orientation in a way you don't want, and I want to make sure that no one with the same damage will ever be seen again."

In response to an interview with NHK, the company said, “I heard from a man when I wanted to be an open company about sexual orientation, so I made a public announcement in good faith, but I think that I should have dealt with carefully. We want to continue discussions and make improvements."
