Mandalawi considered that the caricature is a special approach in drawing that depends on criticism, secrecy and humor. And turned to some contemporary painters to black comedy.

He added that the Iraqi caricature began since the publication of the newspaper "Habzboz" in 1931, and from there began the history of the comic press in Iraq.

As for Al-Hameeri, he went on to say that the political caricature in Iraq trotted in fields open with mines, and the painter rarely escaped with one of these mines.

He pointed out that the professional cartoonists continued to appear in the cartoon, led by Ghazi Al-Baghdadi, who appeared prominently with the newspaper Qandal in 1947. Then the star of many painters brightened after the founding trip.

In turn, Al-Jazea said that the cartoon is the ability to make people express their stance towards the cartoons and express their rejection, acceptance or surprise of them.

He pointed out that the new generation of cartoonists in Iraq rely on social media and enrich e-culture.
