Auchan brand Ossau Iraty PDO raw milk cheese is being recalled. The product may contain enterotoxins from staphylococci, bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal upset that occurs within hours of ingestion. These can cause vomiting, or even infections in some more serious cases, reports the specialist media 60 million consumers .

To bring back to the store or to destroy

This cheese was sold at Auchan between May 20 and June 10 and its health stamp bears the number "FR 64.006.100 CE". If you have this product at home, it is recommended not to consume it, bring it back to the store or destroy it.

People who have consumed this raw milk product and who show symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders should consult their doctor immediately, indicating the product which was consumed and the date and place of purchase.
