Since the start of the coronavirus crisis, TER and coaches in Pays-de-la-Loire (Aléop network) had to contend with capacity restrictions: one seat in two was neutralized to promote sanitary distance between travelers. This rule will be lifted from this Friday, June 12, decided, in agreement with the prefect, the president of the regional council of Pays-de-la-Loire, Christelle Morance (LR). The mask is still mandatory.

"The health authorities affirm it: the epidemic is under control and should not persist in the weeks which come only with the residual state. If vigilance is still required, it is time to remove the constraints that still weigh on our daily lives and which severely penalize our economy, ”explains Christelle Morance.

The rule of one seat out of two had already been lifted since June 2 on the national SNCF (TGV) network. It also did not apply on airplanes.
