The situation seems to worsen in the region of Arles, where the authorities discovered more than a week ago an outbreak of coronavirus epidemic in seasonal agricultural workers.

According to a press release from the Regional Health Agency and the prefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône sent on Tuesday evening, the authorities were able to detect 114 positive cases out of the 1,426 tests carried out during the vast screening campaign performed for a few days. The prefect and the director of the Regional Health Agency went to Arles on Tuesday to meet stakeholders from the agricultural world. An isolation procedure has been initiated.
