Every year, for All Sweden, ten Americans travel around Sweden in search of their Swedish roots with the help of host Anders Lundin. The winner of the competition may meet his Swedish relatives in the final section.
It is already known that the program was forced to pause the recordings because of the corona, but now it has been decided to completely cancel this year's recording. Instead, it is postponed until 2021.
- You can't travel and we have a lot of Americans who would come here. In the program we also visit many Swedes, everything just feels too uncertain now, ”says Haida Jamshidi, an executive producer at SVT.
At present, it leans towards the program being recorded with the participants who were scheduled for 2020.
The program won the Crystal for the Documentary of the Year 2017 and the year before SVT won an Emmy in the non-scripted entertainment category for the 2015 season. The program is done by the production company Meter in collaboration with SVT.
