To avoid the return of any car with the deconfinement, Paris and the Ile-de-France region are betting on the bicycle: 50 kilometers of provisional bicycle paths in addition in the capital and extension projects in the suburbs. Subsidies for bicycle repairs or the purchase of an electric bicycle. Local authorities have been interested in this terribly effective means of “clean locomotion” for several years. With the health crisis, these policies benefited from a real boost. Reportage.
