Local firefighters braved the wind and rain to go from house to house to search for the trapped villagers. As of press time, 2160 people were trapped by the fire rescue detachment of Shanwei City.

  In Pingyuan County, Meizhou City, Guangdong, some areas were severely affected. After the disaster, officers and soldiers of the Pingyuan County Fire Brigade issued police several times in a row to rescue and evacuate the trapped people and drain water for the people. Up to now, Pingyuan Fire Rescue Brigade has dispatched 57 flood rescue personnel and evacuated 175 people.

  It is understood that there are still 15 rivers and 20 river stations in Guangdong that exceed the warning level.
