It must be said that today, whether in the Senate or the Assembly, there is no longer any counter-power. There was a decision of the Constitutional Council which went completely unnoticed. It is dated May 28 and prevents Parliament from intervening in orders made by the executive in the context of the state of health emergency.

In other words, Parliament no longer plays any role, especially since it will not return to its normal role before October. Jurists of elected officials and several intellectuals sound from the alarm bell: "It is urgent to deconfine the National Assembly".

Others put forward the only civic sentiment that has united the country: fear that makes people accept a decline in our freedoms, and criticize a power which, according to them, installed this sentiment to enforce confinement. (Not to mention the global movement against police violence that is taking hold, the situation changes for Emmanuel Macron in this exit from confinement 

There is a democratic emergency. Far from the presidential incantations on the collective shaking of the epidemic, it is therefore urgent to restore a practice of the world of before, essential to the good functioning of our democracy: the control of the government by the parliament.
