According to the school, Loudi No. 1 Middle School is a boarding school where students study and live on campus 24/7. Starting from the actual management of students' safety, life, and learning, the school arranges 4 hours of extracurricular tutoring activities outside of normal classes every day. The class committee voluntarily discusses with reference to the "Notice of the Development and Reform Commission of Loudi City on the Issues Concerning the Charging Standards for After-School Service Charges for Primary and Middle School Students in Loudi City" (Loufa Gaining Fees (2019) No. 241) related to the after-school service charging standards in the school, 13 yuan per day per student (a total of 1,500 yuan for the whole period, free for students with family difficulties), used for the labor remuneration of teachers in class.
