[Commentary] A few days ago, more than 2,600 Hong Kong cultural and performing arts figures, including Jackie Chan, Wang Mingquan, and Wang Zulan, issued a joint statement to support Hong Kong's national security legislative decision. Famous director and producer Gao Zhisen was also included. In an exclusive interview with reporters on June 5, Gao Zhisen said that Hong Kong society is consistent in supporting Hong Kong-related national security legislation, and the bill will help the art world to chaos anyway.
[Commentary] Gao Zhisen said that black violence hit the Hong Kong film industry severely. The original filming plans have been postponed, and many practitioners have been unemployed. There are not many people who have changed jobs because there is no film to shoot. Artists have also begun to distinguish between "political positions". Patriotic and Hong Kong practitioners will be attacked by the "brute force". Many people with ulterior motives put political topics on the art stage and incite riots in the form of art. In this regard, Gao Zhisen, who has participated in many police activities, has a deep understanding.

That is to say, at this level, I think that the National Security Law may make everyone wake up, and everyone will clearly see this matter.
[Commentary] When news of Hong Kong’s national security legislation came out, people in the performing arts community in Hong Kong began signing and supporting fundraising activities, and Gao Zhisen immediately participated. He said that people in the performing arts industry in Hong Kong have been intolerable to the chaos in society for nearly a year. This time the joint agency's voice was to separate from violence and even more intolerable to chaos in the industry. The co-signed content talked about "full understanding of the importance of safeguarding national security is essential to Hong Kong, so that Hong Kong can return to the right track of civilization and the rule of law and start again."

The society is consistent in supporting the legislation of the National Security Law, and a considerable voice agrees. So the phenomenon of signatures reflects that many people are starting to look down, or realize that the crisis has "killed the whole body."
[Explanation] Gao Zhisen believes that if there is a national security loophole in Hong Kong, it not only affects more than 7 million Hong Kong people, but also affects about 1.4 billion Chinese people. The national security legislation concerning Hong Kong is completely reasonable and legal. As an art practitioner, there is no need to worry if the work does not involve inciting terrorist attacks.
